Although recommended age is 5+ because of it's very small parts. I bought this for my 2.5 yr old at Christmas (for me really!) to build together, then for her to play with as she loves things with intricate parts & little features to explore (beyond putting things in her mouth, thankfully!) both sides open up to reveal a sleeping area, TV, pans, also comes with a little fish, surf board, bike & 2 figures, really detailed for a small toy.
